Challenge
Flexible working hours and agile organisational models have made stationary workplaces obsolete. This makes it difficult to forecast the peaks of people present in the building. In exceptional situations such as emergencies or pandemics in particular, overseeing and managing flows of people is therefore difficult.
Solution approach
With intelligent people counting and occupancy tracking, the people present are counted anonymously and in compliance with the GDPR. They can then be managed according to demand and areas can be controlled intelligently using analysis tools.
Added value
In combination with shared desks, space can be optimised according to need and on a targeted basis. In facilities management, costs are saved through the targeted cleaning of the surfaces used. Or heating and air conditioning can be optimised by consistently controlling the movement of people to certain floors. This use case provides the basis for detailed analyses that enable the data-driven planning and optimisation of real estate space.
On top: in the event of a fire, the fire department is informed immediately about the whereabouts of people, so that they can evacuate them without losing time.
