Broadly based infrastructures and areas pose considerable challenges to the coordinated and targeted movement of people. This is especially the case when they are required to adapt to the changes and adaptations in an agile environment. In this respect, classic signage quickly reaches its limits.

Solution approach

Building data integrated into Eliona, combined with sophisticated sensor technology, is able to guide a building’s visitors to their destination on a targeted basis. This doesn’t just take place at the 2D level, but also at the vertical level – i.e. the position is determined to the exact floor.

Added value

In addition to intuitive and simplified visitor guidance, the signage and signalling within a building can also be dispensed with. Rather than having to accompany a visitor from the reception to the room where their appointment is taking place and using staff resources, the task can be completed by the personal assistant in your pocket.

Example of a hospital: Departments may change their location within a wing or certain areas may have to be closed off, in the case of a pandemic, for example.

With Eliona, visitors can be directed to exactly where they need to go without bottlenecks through the targeted guidance of the movement of people. Algorithms determine the way finding on an agile basis according to live data and the number of people in the building.
